ドノヴァン　『イギリスにおける貝の博物誌』 　Edward Donovan (1768-1837) は、イギリスを代表する重要な博物学者のひとりで、鳥類や昆虫、魚類などに関する美麗な図版を伴う多くの博物学書を著している。 　本書は、イギリスの貝の自然誌を扱った著作である。60の部分に分かれて出版されており、それぞれのパートに3枚ずつの図版が含まれ、解説がほどこされている。
